Considered one of Melbourne's iconic art gallery venues and bars since 1995, Fad Gallery presents regular exhibitions, music, the occasional private party and hopefully some interesting events throughout the year. Both the Ground and 1st Floor are contemporary art galleries.
The bar has a range of local and imported beers, wine, very basic cocktails, spirits, juices, blah blah blah, our drink prices are pretty reasonable bar prices - we do try to please.
Fad's hours are from 4pm - 1am tuesday - saturday.
On tuesday and thursday evenings from about 9pm, we have live music, tuesday is a bit chilled, while on thursdays it's a bit more uptempo - great muso's, great music. Friday and saturday we play groovy music from the 60's on - music you can have a damn fine dance to - and most people do.
If you're interested in doing something at Fad - re art, music, parties, corporate events - whatever - it's just about having a chat to us about what you want to do, and we'll do all we can to make you and your friends have a bloody marvellous night - or day or whatever.
Fad's been around for quite a while, so you can imagine, we've had lots of corporate and private functions since we began, all with different times, themes, needs and wants, we pride ourselves doing everthing we can to make our customers happy.

Fad Gallery's owner is Johnny Halleday and as written in The Age Magazine "He loves to chat and his stories alone are worth the price of admission." By the way, admission is free of charge, all day, everyday.
